You’ll have the largest selection of eye-catching (we couldn’t help ourselves!) independent eyewear in Nottingham to choose from.
You’ll always find Indy, our resident optometrist and director, to hand. We’re a family business, so if he’s ever away the reins are passed to his sister or brother, ensuring the service and care you receive never falters. Professionally, Indy and his sister are both qualified optometrists.

We are proud optical geeks and we understand the lenses are equally as important as the eyewear. As independent opticians, we will partner your eyewear with lenses that will give you the best vision. We fit and supply lenses from Carl Zeiss, BBGR, Essilor (Varilux), Nikon, Hoya, Seiko and Tokai.

We are focused on providing total eye care for you and your family. Our eye examinations (Eye Tests) are 45 minutes, rather than the typical 20-30 minutes you find on the high street, followed by your very own personalised eyewear styling. All our Eye Tests are carried out at our Nottingham City Centre Opticians, on Friar Lane.
Glasses & Sunglasses
We are fashion orientated, with a fine eye for detail and quality. We pride ourselves in supporting independent eyewear, giving you a choice of unique glasses and sunglasses to choose from. Indy and his siblings travel around the world meeting inspirational independent eyewear designers, who share the same values as Loxley.
We also have a range of accessories like Glasses chains, Sunglasses clips, Cases, Glasses cleaning cloths & sprays, replacement screws & nose pads.
