Kirk & Kirk have been creating distinctive and light eyewear for over 25 years based in Brighton. Inspired by brit pop and the work of the late Italian glass designer Flavio Poli, the frames are crafted from bespoke Italian acrylic and handmade in France. Now available, here at Loxley Opticians in Nottingham.
Kirk & Kirk is a brand that’s steeped in family heritage in optics since 1919. Founded by husband and wife Karen and Jason Kirk. Wanted to create a collection that was worn with confidence and reflected the personality and mood of its customer with WOW bright colours.

These frames are bound to make you smile with the whole rainbow to choose from: sunshine yellow, fresh green and sky blue.
Kirk & Kirk has been inspired by David Bowie among other things, with Bowie’s bright colours and punk rock attitude. The collection was given much attention after Prue Leith wore bright blue frames on the Great British Bake Off.

Eye Test
We are focused on providing total eye care for you and your family. Our eye examinations (eye tests) are 45 minutes, rather than the typical 20-30 minutes you find on the high street, followed by your very own personalised eyewear styling. All our eye tests are carried out at our Nottingham City Centre Opticians, on Friar Lane.
Glasses & Sunglasses
We are fashion orientated, with a fine eye for detail and quality. We pride ourselves in supporting independent eyewear, giving you a choice of unique glasses and sunglasses to choose from. Indy and his siblings travel around the world meeting inspirational independent eyewear designers, who share the same values as Loxley.
We also offer a range of accessories such as glasses chains, sunglasses clips, cases, glasses cleaning cloths & sprays, replacement screws & nose pads.
Lenses
When it comes to lenses we work with industry leaders, offering an array of lens manufacturers (like Carl Zeiss, BBGR and Essilor). With our understanding of your needs and with the guidance of our expert opticians, we will recommend the perfect lenses to suit your lifestyle.
