Komono has been pushing the boundaries of fashion with its innovative styles and forward-thinking aesthetics. Back in 2009, Belgian snowboarders Anton Janssens and Raf Maes broke into the eyewear industry with experimental and contemporary designs, rooted in the Antwerp fashion environment. With distinctive shapes and a range of neutral to bold colours, Komono has something for all personalities and styles.

Komono often collaborate with upcoming, young designers on avant-garde styles and daring themes. Partnered with the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, a 2023 collection starring designer Walter Van Beirendonck was released. Focusing on creative expression and individuality, the release pushed the status quo of eyewear. Here at Loxley Opticians, we were ecstatic to be able to feature this collection!

You may have also seen your favourite celebrities wearing Komono! Famous wearers include Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera. The uniqueness of the frame styles have skyrocketed Komono’s popularity across the globe, and we here at Loxley are very proud to be the only stockists in the East Midlands.

After visiting nine opticians in one day, I finally found my perfect pair of glasses at Loxley's. The atmosphere is less like an optician's and more like a sanctuary for eyewear enthusiasts, with an exceptional array of frames to choose from!

I had my eye test today, I was not quite sure I would be on time for the appointment and I've called yesterday and explained that I may be slightly late and the lovely lady on the phone was so accommodating and lovely. Indy was fantastic, he has taken the time to explain the different results. I've been wearing glasses for 30 years and this is the most informative eye test I've ever had. Our eye examinations (eye tests) are 45 minutes, rather than the typical 20-30 minutes you find on the high street, followed by your very own personalised eyewear styling.
