Thierry Lasry is a French designer, who in 2006, dived into the world of fashion and eyewear. Mixing craftmanship with renowned Parisian design, Thierry Lasry took the optical world by storm with his visionary and ground-breaking frames. He is a firm believer in the design speaking for itself, with confident colours, shapes and lines, as well as no branding on the frames.

Inspired by 80s culture and French fashion icons Thierry Mugler and Claude Montana, Thierry Lasry’s brand was born. All designs are his own work and are entirely handcrafted by skilled professionals using Italian acetate by Mazzucchelli. Lasry envisions his frames like LEGO from his childhood; all pieces are perfectly placed together and with unbound creativity, you can design something that has never been seen before.

Some of the 21st century’s most famous celebrities have been spotted out-and-about wearing Thierry Lasry frames. These include Beyoncé, Rihanna and Travis Scott. Collaborations are also frequent for Lasry’s brand. The most famous include DC Comics in 2010 & 2014, Barbie in 2019 and PSG in 2021. I am super picky, and don't like to be pushed into making decisions. Indy was so patient, knowledgable and really shared my vision throughout. Nothing was too much hassle. After visiting nine opticians in one day, I finally found my perfect pair of glasses at Loxley's. The atmosphere is less like an optician's and more like a sanctuary for eyewear enthusiasts, with an exceptional array of frames to choose from!

Indy and Imogen's personal touch and expertise helped me unearth frames that were bold enough to mirror my style. Their commitment and eyewear curation knowledge, made finding the ideal pair an act of pure dedication and an ode to the lost art of customer service.

From the calls to book, the eye test, the frame selection, to the final frame fitting and even the adhoc times I pop in to have a tweak made the team are always friendly and helpful. I had my eye test today, I was not quite sure I would be on time for the appointment and I've called yesterday and explained that I may be slightly late and the lovely lady on the phone was so accommodating and lovely. Indy was fantastic, he has taken the time to explain the different results. I've been wearing glasses for 30 years and this is the most informative eye test I've ever had.
